Ulcerative Colitis
Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis:
We’re aiming to put control
back in your hands
Inflammatory bowel disease, which includes ulcerative colitis (UC) and Crohn’s disease (CD), affects about 10 million people worldwide.
The Maestro Study is looking at how safe an investigational medication is and whether it works for people with moderate to severe UC or CD. We plan to enroll a wide variety of participants because medicines may affect people differently based on their age, sex, gender, and race/ethnicity.
You, or someone you know, may be able to take part if you/they:
- are 18–75 years of age
- have been diagnosed with UC or CD for at least 3 months
- have tried at least 1 medication that did not work, stopped working, or caused too many side effects.
The Maestro Study will last for up to 6 months (24 weeks). This study has been reviewed by an Institutional Review Board (IRB)/Ethics Committee (EC), which protects the rights, safety, and well-being of the participants.
