The enviva study is exploring the effects of an investigational drug on symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome with predominant diarrhea (IBS-D). Researchers are studying
how the investigational drug may help ease discomfort from symptoms such as moderate to severe abdominal pain, bloating, and unpleasant stool consistency.
If you are 18 years of age or older and interested in a new investigational option for IBS-D, you may be eligible to join.
Study participants may receive:
- Access to an investigational drug
- Some participants will receive placebo, which will have no effect on their condition.
- Study support and monitoring by a study-related healthcare team
- Education about IBS-D
